Play this exercise with the 1st and 2nd finger, then the 2nd and 3rd
finger and finally the 3rd and 4th finger. Remember, doing one push up
will not make your arm muscles big. This is true with practicing
guitar. The time spent on this exercise is directly proportional to the
amount of coordination you will gain from it. Use your practice time
wisely!
Play this exercise first with the 1st and 3rd finger and then the 2nd

or no time gap between. This is called LEGATO playing.
